Q: I'm taking the exam at the end of this week so any guides or tips would be helpful.

Check out Cramsession's guide. We've got a ton of questions too on CertTutor.net that are free. Also, here are some general test-taking tips for the week before the exam from my book (link for the book is in my sig):

Get plenty of sleep - Most people take the opposite approach. They are up until all hours of the night trying to cram as much information into their brain as possible. By the time Test Day rolls around they are extremely exhausted. Because of this they are often unable to concentrate on the exam and end up getting questions wrong that they shouldn't have. Plan on not just getting an adequate amount of sleep during the week before your exam but actually getting more sleep than usual.

Try to get some exercise - The week of your exam is not the time to start running five miles a day if you haven't exercised in the last year. Still, it's a good idea to at least try to get some exercise the week of your exam. It might not be anything more that walking a couple of miles but some activity will help to clear your head in the days leading up to the exam.

Plan ahead on Test Day - There isn't much that's worse than some of the last minute anxieties such as not knowing where the testing center is or still being uncertain about various testing policies. Make sure that you have these things cleared up well in advance of your exam. Consider driving to the testing center ahead of time and posting any outstanding questions on a message board to alleviate your fears.

Picture yourself succeeding - One of the key elements for many World-class performers is visualization. Top athletes such as Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods have definite visions in their head of what will happen before it actually takes place. By seeing themselves succeeding in their mind first, they allow their body to succeed when it counts. It might not be as glamorous but you can do the same on your certification exams. Spend a few minutes during each of the days leading up to the exam and see yourself nailing all of the questions and passing your exam. This time is well spent and will help get you into an optimal frame of mind on Test Day.

Don't break too much from your routine - Having talked about the things that you should do, it's also important to talk about what you should not do which is to make any life-altering changes the week of your exams. We would love to see you stop smoking but the week before your certification exam is probably not the week to do so. The same can be said for any of a number of other habits. Stick with what works for you, at least until you're done with the exam.
