| Q: I want to take the 70-215 exam without taking any class, but just studying by myself. What do you think? Will be hard? Anyone does this way? Any advice? How much time do you think I'll need considering that i have already experience on at least half of the stuff examined in the exam. |
| A: I would say that your experience is very,
very important. I didn't take the course, but I read the MSPress book
twice and I found that this did not really prepare me at all for any of
the practise exams I found on the web. All the questions are trouble shooting
scenarios. I found that by far the most useful thing I did was practising
hands on with all the various features of Win2K. That being said, for
somewhat of a newbie, I found the exam to be somewhat challenging. I passed
the exam but if I had gone in cold without having read the book and practised
a lot both through online exams and on my home computer, I easily could
have failed. Big Time source: alt.certification.mcse |
